Who is performing?

Once available, 2024 performers will be able to be viewed from our Performer page.

Different than most “other airshows” Pacific Airshow does not announce all of our performers at once - we announce our performers in groups in the lead-up to our events. Our lineup will be truly spectacular with over 4+ hours of non-stop action.

Sign up to become a Pacific Airshow Insider, so you can be the first to know when performers are announced and receive early access to tickets before they go on sale to the general public.

Are all 3 days of the Airshow the same?

All three days of the Airshow are usually the full line up of performers. Friday is technically a “Rehearsal Day,” meaning the performances may change from the main show on Saturday and Sunday but in general you can expect to see a very similar show all three days.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO EXPERIENCE THE AIRSHOW? WHERE IS SHOW CENTRE?

Show Centre will be located on the beach opposite Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise, Queensland. The Esplanade will be transformed in to a ticketed venue and feature premium viewing and hospitality areas, access to the live announcer feed, and Airshow vendors providing food, beverages, merchandise, along with other entertainment and displays.

With an aerial performance box of more than 1.5km long, anywhere along the beach North or South of this location will be a great spot to view the show, however for the best experience, we encourage guests to purchase a ticket.

HOW CAN I HEAR THE SHOW’S ANNOUNCER?

Our live announcer feed is ONLY available in the Pacific Airshow ticketed areas. The announcer audio enhances the overall experience, and helps give attendees background information on the aircraft, pilots, music and more.

To listen to the announcer feed, we invite you to purchase an Airshow ticket when they go on sale.

DO YOU HAVE AN AIRSHOW CHECKLIST?

You bet we do! Pilots don't fly without a checklist, so why should you? Use this checklist of helpful tips to optimise you and your family’s Airshow experience:

  • Plan your arrival strategy. Be prepared for traffic delays. Utilise the G: (light rail), Rideshare, carpooling, walk or bike if possible. Visit the TRANSLINK website for the latest in public transport options.

  • If you drive, please follow all posted parking signs. The last thing you want after a fun day at Pacific Airshow is a parking ticket or a towed vehicle.

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! A day in the sun is fun but be sure to drink plenty of water.

  • Bring snacks! The beach will be full of food vendors, but there could be queues at times. Make sure you have snacks for kids and other items that’ll keep everyone happy and healthy.

  • You're permitted to bring your own food for personal consumption. However, you are not permitted to bring glass, alcohol or commercial food in to the event.

  • Protect yourself with sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and small personal umbrellas (GA only).

  • Bring earplugs/muffs, especially for kids. Part of the Airshow thrill is the sound, but ear protection is highly encouraged, especially for young children.

  • Cameras and binoculars are a great way to capture the excitement.

  • Leave your drone at home! Pacific Airshow is an enforced NO DRONE ZONE for everyone’s safety.

WHAT ABOUT ACCESSIBLE VIEWING?

Dedicated accessible viewing areas will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. A full Accessible Access Plan will be available closer to the event.

CAN I WATCH FROM A BOAT ON THE WATER? WHAT ABOUT SURFERS?

Those on the water will have a great view of the show!

The best views will be from our VIP Yacht Box. More details coming soon on that!

Important to note: during the hours of the show, the Airshow will institute what is called a “sterile aerobatic box” in the water which will be marked with buoys and will be patrolled by Queensland Police and on-water security.
