Pacific Airshow Spreads Its Wings with WildSkies Partnership

Things are looking up for Gold Coast locals, with Pacific Airshow Gold Coast swooping in as the presenting partner for Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s WildSkies Free Flight Bird Show!  

This partnership brings together two iconic Gold Coast attractions, uniting their shared passion for the magic of flight. Marking the collaboration, is a new co-branded sign now installed at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, highlighting Pacific Airshow’s role as the presenting partner for WildSkies for the next 12 months.  

“We are thrilled to partner with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for the WildSkies Free Flight Bird Show,” said Pacific Airshow Director Kevin Elliott.

“Jane, my wife, and I have now visited the Sanctuary several times with our family and friends – it’s a genuine Australian experience for them and has become our ‘go-to’ destination every time we’re here. Our kids, Jett and Goldie, just love it.

“One of the highlights for me is seeing the iconic Australian Wedgetail Eagle up close and who knows, we may even be lucky enough to feature the impressive RAAF E-7A Wedgetail in our show come August.  

“This new collaboration celebrates the beauty and wonder of flight but also connects us to the community in an exciting and meaningful way. I was especially keen to support the great work that the wildlife carers do here, so it has worked out perfectly. It’s a great fit for Pacific Airshow as we are both creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.” 

As part of the partnership, Pacific Airshow branding will feature prominently within the WildSkies experience, including pre-recorded messages during shows from ‘The Voice’ of Pacific Airshow, Matt Jolley. Visitors can also look forward to unique activations ahead of the 2025 Pacific Airshow Gold Coast, with performers engaging in exciting activities at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, from meeting the Sanctuary’s ambassador birds to tackling the high ropes at Treetop Challenge.
